It all started when a vote to legalize gay marriage in the state of North Carolina failed to pass sparking this week’s dominant press coverage. Gallup polls suggest that the U.S. is about fifty-fifty on the issue.
On Meet The Press, cup o’ Joe (Biden)’s comments provided the catalyst for Obama to announce his stance on same sex marriage. The President admits that his views have evolved on the subject. Also, that freedom is for all Americans.
Lastly, Jon Stewart, The Daily Show, and Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report, react to the media coverage on Comedy Central. Here’s what they had to say:
